The continuing story of the Pevensie kids, who leave this reality to help restore Prince Caspian to his rightful throne. The brave mouse Peepiceek breaks into the castle, only to find a cat asleep in the gatehouse. A cat who obviously doesn't put up much of a struggle, as it's next seen bound and gagged. Oh the shame of it!

mousehunt (1997)

Catzilla.
A pair of brothers inherit a rundown house, which they plan to do up and sell. Unfortunately for them it's home to a wiley mouse, who does not like the plan. After they exhaust all other attempts to kill it, they resort to not just a cat, but 'One mean pussy.'

rising damp (1980)

Vienna.
Rigsby's pet cat, that seems to delight in getting in his way and causing as much mayhem as possible for the least amount of effort. Vienna turns out to be the one thing that doesn't disappoint in this mildly amusing reversioning of a successful TV comedy.

the sentinel (1977)

Jezebel.
Model Alison moves into a flat in New York to get away from her boyfriend. Next door lives creepy neighbour Charles Chazen, an over friendly man, who is always accompanied by a parrot and a cat. Now you don't get creepier than that!

the cat and the canary (1978)

Mew Mew.
The film opens with a cat eyeing up a canary in a cage. When a man starts calling the cat in, the camera cuts back to the scene, only to find the cat now hanging dead! Boy it didn't take long for the cat to cop it, all of a minute into the film.

Later another cat is seen mooching around, and pops up from time to time to keep us on our toes and distract the participants.

raiders of the lost ark (1981)

The first of the adventure series sees Indiana chasing the Ark of the Convenant in Egypt. The cat turns up as Indiana chases a basket containing the heroine, Marion, through the back streets of Cairo.
