Rebecca Neff (Diane Venora) is a criminal psychologist helping Detective Dewey Wilson (Albert Finney) solve the murder of a prominent businessman. She goes home one night jittery about the case and her cat manages to scares her!

kuroneko (1968)

The title means "Black Cat" in English, and based on a Japanese folktale The Cats Return. So its pretty obvious that there would be a cat in here somewhere. A mother and her daugher in law are raped and murdered by some bandits and return as vampiric cats to reap their revenge on unwary samurai.

re-animator (1985)

He makes a fleeting appearance before becoming an early re-animation experiment for the mad medical student Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs), who is obsessed with bringing the dead back to life.

aliens (1986)

Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and Jonesy are found floating in space and rescued. Then whilst Ripley is persuaded to go back to the alien planet, Jonesy gets to stay back on Earth.
