tarzan's savage fury (1952)

A guide uses a lion to distract his client, before shooting him in the back.

Later Tarzan shows Joey, an orphan he's picked up in the jungle, how to stare down a lion! 'See just big cat." This comes in handy when towards the end of the picture Tarzan finds himself trapped on cliffs near a pride of lions. Fortunately Joey remembers his lesson.

Later we are treated to the sight of some lion cubs with their proud mum and Tarzan manages to save one of the cubs life. What a hero.

We all know that no journey through a jungle isn't complete without a snarling lion. Even if we all now know that lions don't live in jungles! Later Tarzan gets to tangle with a tribe who keep a pit of very hungry lions, who would like nothing better than to chomp down on some humans.

The first part of epic story of love and death in an Indian royal court. Like all good Maharajah's, this one keeps tigers as pets, and he sends his love rival into the tiger cage at one point to be eaten. Oh and there is also a man eating tiger roaming the jungle causing panic.

tarzan's magic fountain (1949)

From the off Tarzan gets to scare off a panther, before settling down to the usual jungle adventure.
