A pseudo educational exploitation film, that is so bad its bad. It features Satan the cat in a pivital role. Who at a crucial time eats a human heart destined for a patient.
Satan then ends up bricked up in a wall, but only after having one of his eyes squeezed out and eaten by the Dr's assistant...

Plenty of other cats feature, mostly fighting or chasing rats. This one has just listened to a man explaining that he is breeding cats for their fur, getting the cats to eat the rats that are plaguing his house. The cats are in turn skinned and fed to the rats...

i cover the waterfront (1933)

A shore front reporter investigating a trawlerman he suspects of smuggling human cargo into the US. As part of his investigation he becomes romantically involved with the fisherman's daughter. She fantasises about them settling down and getting a cat. Near the end when she realises he has betrayed her trust she finds a stay cat and names her Jenny.
