A Jacques Tourneur thriller, where an escaped leopard is blamed for a series of murders, but is it perpetrating the killings, or is it something else? Whilst the citizens of the village become more and more terrified, we see a fortune teller, complete with her ginger cat, which hastily makes off when a customer arrives.
