Later in flashback we see her find Olga as a stray kitten. The cat distribution system works and she takes the kitten into a store. Whilst there the cashier accuses her of bringing a cat in, which she denies, despite the kitten visably poking out from under her jacket!
The credits list the cat as Noochie, but whether that is the adult Olga or the kitten is not stated!
